Liner Leaks

Whether it's a puncture, hole or tear (if a reasonable size) we can find it and fix it.

We use dye to test for the path of suspect areas at lights or gaskets at skimmers or stairs and can seal those Leaks too. 1 flat rate is charged. We don't charge per patch or an hourly fee.

After we provide you an estimate, a diver will examine every area, corner and crevice of your pool for anything that resembles a Leak. We should be able to repair 99% of any Leaks, so the structure will be free of any Leaks.

Sometimes unfortunately, because your liner's effective life (actual wear) is limited, we will suggest a new liner. Liner age can be accelerated not just based on use, but also chemicals, salt, sun, cleaning & brushing. Generally a new liner will not be needed.

Pipe Leak Locating / Pressure Testing

If a plumbing Leak is suspected, the 1st step in locating a pipe Leak is pressure testing, which leads us to what pipe is Leaking. From this point you have 3 options -

• We can precisely locate the Leak and your pool co. can dig up and repair
• Live with the Leak and replace the line when perhaps you get a new patio for example.
• Replace the entire pipeline

We specialize in finding the pipe Leaks so your pool co. can excavate and repair the break.You probably don't need us if you will replace 1 or of all your lines.

Using helium as a tracer gas as well sophisticated acoustics for suspected pipe Leaks, we can find most of those Leaks under the surface

Do you know if a diver is needed to check the inside of your pool or do you need the pipes tested? If you don't know what type of Leak Detector to hire, we ask you to observe your water loss and take some measurements.

• Did you lose water in the off season when the pool was closed?
• Did the Leak start right after a Vac, cleaning, brushing or even right after you used the robot
• Is it obvious your water loss is more with the pump running?
• Did water loss stop at the bottom of the skimmer?
• Once we have your observations, we can develop a plan for Leak Detecting.
